Antwerp Queer Arts Festival, Queer Leuven and 30CC join forces once again for a dazzling new edition of… Happy New Queer!

Step into this vibrant live show, where rising queer talent shares the stage with established favorites. Guided by our hosts, you’ll experience an evening full of sparkle: from powerful performances and heartfelt queer New Year’s letters to stand-up comedy and show-stopping lipsyncs. And the party doesn’t stop there - our foyer offers a lively side program to keep the celebration going. Expect party, a touch of chaos, and plenty of cozy moments. Gifts, cava, and maybe even a spontaneous dance - anything can happen. Celebrate with us!

We’re revealing the full programme step by step, but these names are already confirmed:

Our sparkling host Georgy Gorgeous returns to lead the evening.

Fresh talent showcases what they created during our summer residency: Nata Mandaria invites you into a world of bold colours, rhythm and striking contrasts, inspired by the women in her family — small, fierce, broad-shouldered, and wearing just a little too much blush. Expect high energy, intriguing texts and warm, engaging interaction.

Ju.j.u, aka Julian Gypens, lays it all bare. A dancer and stand-up comedian, they seamlessly blend art forms that seem incompatible at first glance. In their solo Big Backstory, Ju.j.u dances and speaks through what it means to train a body that wasn’t built for it. Big Backstory is an exercise in using humour as an opening towards vulnerability rather than an ironic shield.

Sien Van Acker treats us to clownesque fever dancing, and Jhaya Destiny Gabbana brings you the essentials of vogue.

And because it was such a hit last time: after the show, you can once again dance the night away in the foyer with DJ Filip.
