Antwerp Queer Arts Festival wordt gemaakt en gespeeld door vrijwilligers, onder wie heel wat kunstenaars.

Twaalf daarvan tonen werk in Kunsthal Extra City. Er is geen overkoepelend thema: We zijn hier omdat we samen dingen doen, en daar iets goeds en moois in vinden. Vriendschap, plezier, steun, verwondering, of gewoon dit.

Tijdens de expo zijn er geregeld activiteiten waarmee we wat ons amuseert, stoort of ontroert, een plek en een vorm geven.

The Antwerp Queer Arts Festival is created and performed by volunteers, including many artists.

Twelve of them are exhibiting their work at Kunsthal Extracity. There is no overarching theme: We’re here because we do things together, and we find something good and beautiful in that. Friendship, fun, support, wonder, or just this.

During the exhibition, there will be regular activities where we give a place and a form to what amuses, disturbs, or moves us.
