Delta Van Melle

De beeldend kunstenaar Delta van Melle maakt experimenteel werk met een speels maar gelaagd karakter. Die werkt fysiek en intuïtief: met vingers, krabbels en spontane bewegingen. Delta gebruikt materialen als glas, muurverf, oude tekeningen en scoby – het restmateriaal van kombucha, dat staat voor groei, indamming en sociale structuren. Met dit materiaal gaat die ook tijdens A Night Called Quest aan de slag.

Visual artist Delta van Melle creates experimental work with a playful yet layered nature. They work physically and intuitively: with fingers, scribbles and spontaneous movements. Delta uses materials such as glass, wall paint, old drawings and scoby - the residue of kombucha, which represents growth, containment and social constructs. They will also work with this material during A Night Called Quest.
