Journeying Through Memory
A hybrid experience combining theatre, gaming and ritual. Two performers enter a videogame designed by Samuel Baidoo as a space for new rituals of mourning, memory and reflection from their perspective as a queer artist of colour.
One performer takes on the role of guide, while the other plays the game for the first time. Through livestreaming and large-scale projection, the audience follows their journey and reactions in real time. Their encounter is both authentic and performative, as the virtual world becomes a starting point for a personal and social conversation.
